Message from Susan Gold
I would like to tell you that I have been using
these teas for more than 20 years in my personal
apothecary. They were introduced to me by my late
husband Warren Gold, himself a Shaman, who was
introduced to them by his teacher and friend Lee
Nelson White Deer. I have been told that in the
early 1940’s Lee traveled much of the continental
United States sharing herbal knowledge with medicine
men of many nations. These formulas are, in part,
the product of that sharing. We honor a great
tradition of spiritual men and women living in
concert and partnership with Mother’s herbal
pharmacy as we use these teas and share them with
you.
Cleanse and Calm Bath Blend is a fundamental
element of my self care. I bathe and soak regularly.
It cleans my body and clears my mind. I am relaxed,
grounded and inspired through its subtle aroma
and soothing texture. If you’re a bather,
I think you’d like to experience this blend
of soothing and sacred herbs (Comfrey, Lavender
Flower, Thyme, Rosemary, Peppermint, Tamarack
or Tamarisk or Slippery Elm Bark, Mullein, White
Sage, Yucca).
Both the Bath Blend and Old Crow Blend
can be used as inhalants. Make the tea as directed
and just breathe in the steam or add it to a clean
humidifier. These herbs are extraordinary in their
harmony and synergy of fragrance and medicinal
properties. Medicine here has perhaps a different
meaning than one might be used to. This is Earth’s
medicine. It serves us when we are ill, yes. But
it also serves us when we are well. It is intended
to assist us in all aspects of our daily living.
Coexistence Blend is expressly formulated
to accompany meals and support the digestive process.
We also find it to serve as an aid to digesting
and integrating changes that are occuring in our
awareness of life and the changing needs of our
planet. If you're looking for a replacement
for caffeine or just like a little "pep"
at different times of day, try our Rising Sun
Blend. It is also useful for warding
off duldrums or depression. Tranquility
Blend is helpful with nervous tension.

The Seasonal Cleanse trio, individually extraordinary
herbal blends, each carry a specific purpose for
physical rejuvenation. When used as a trio they
offer a comprehensive detoxification of our major
systems. Because herbs work gently on deep as
well as subtle levels of our physicality, they
can’t help but assist us in opening to greater
spiritual health and awareness as well. They assist
us in living in harmony with nature … our
own natures, and our environment. It is a communion,
also a synergy of consciousness, intention, and
awareness. This is why we bless our herbs as we
prepare them for distribution and as we prepare
them for ourselves. We express gratitude, and
we invite our spirit, minds and bodies to open
in reception to the spirit of the herbs.
Innocence Blend is very effective as a
mouth rinse for swelling or irritations of gums,
or swollen glands. We recommend guidance from
an experience herbal health care practioner when
using any of the Seasonal Cleanse blends if you
are experiencing any serious health conditions.
