used in our blends. They are listed
alphabetically by common name.
The first line of information about each
herb is a quote from Lee Nelson White Deer
at the Eagle Academy of Native American
Healing Arts in San Diego recorded by Warren
Gold. Lee spent many years traveling
throughout North America trading herbal
wisdom with indigenous peoples. Warren
studied and apprenticed with Lee at his
clinic and at the Academy. Warren
contributed additional information to our
database during his twenty five years working
with these medicinal herbs as a healer,
a teacher of natural medicine, and an herbalist.
There
are some notes from Lee Nelson on gathering,
drying, and mixing herbs.
A Practitioners Reference section
is underway where we will post recommendations
from Warren Gold on how and when to use
these medicinal blends.
